How to change Background Images in Twitter

This will help you to change your default twitter background for any of your choice, or even the one that you just created. Just follow this easy step by step guide:

Instructions

You’ll need the following:

Your image in GIF, JPG or PNG format

Twitter account

  1. Log in to your Twitter account with your username and password.
  2. From the top menu bar select settings, it is located on the top right corner of your screen and is the fourth option.
  3. Now you are going to select the Design tab to change the default settings.
  4. Under the “themes” section there is a button called “cange background image”, press it and a new area will pop up.
  5. This is where you can upload a new image, browse your system to find your new background and upload it. It may take a few seconds to upload.Decide if you want to tile the image. Checking the “Tile background” box will create a series of duplicate images across your profile page. This works well sometimes but if you arenot sure just select the full size.
  6. Select “Save changes” to confirm the modifications. This button is located directly below the uploading section; once you click this, the background image will update automatically.

How to change your twitter background’s sidebar and text colors:


  1. Visit http://twitter.com and log into your twitter account
  2. On the top right navigation menu click on the ”settings” tab
  3. Next click on the “design” tab
  4. Scroll down and select on “Change design colors>>”
  5. Select the elements you want to change
  6. Choose the colours you like
  7. And finally save the changes by clicking the button bellow
